This position, under the general direction of the Manager or Technical Lead, Cloud Operations, will be responsible for supporting cloud customers and be responsible, at varying levels, for software installations and configuration, continuous systems analysis, technical customer support, and systems administration for the SaaS server technologies used in a multi-cloud environment. Work includes monitoring and maintenance of application servers to meet client needs and maximize system performance, availability and security of all cloud-based systems.
5+ years of experience in Software Application Support on a Windows platform in
production environments.
· 5+ years of experience writing scripts/programs in industry standard supported
scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Javascript, etc), that automate tasks to
improve efficiency, productivity and accuracy. +2 years of experience writing complex
and/or integrated automation.
· Experience managing a monitoring system that tracks system resources, services, and
connectivity. Knowing New Relic is a plus.
· Experience in making changes in HA environment utilizing zero downtime deployment
strategies
· A solid grasp of web application architecture and underlying technologies
· Solid understanding of version control, branching models, software versioning.
· Solid understanding on how to test code and infrastructure.
· Solid understanding of databases.
· Troubleshooting application support issues, fundamental infrastructure issues,
fundamental network and connectivity issues.
· Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, TCP/IP framework is a plus
· Solid Understanding of modern agile methodologies (Scrum,Kanban)
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Managing projects and seeing them through to successful completion.
· Support and manage our Proprietary Software Applications on a Windows platform, from web
and data layers in both VMs and VMWare, to AD user accounts and security groups,
load balancers, and application technologies.
· Build solutions for automation, updating and improving legacy tools and systems to
bring them up to date with current technologies, tools, and processes
· Participate in project-based work across the organization, as both a contributor, as well
as a collaborator bringing operational experience leadership to other teams.
· Provide operational support to our cloud platform, helping to troubleshoot our
platform, as well as participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
Bonus points for:
· Experience writing Infrastructure as Code using technologies such as Terraform, as
well as Configuration Management tools such as Ansible
· A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical
discipline.

· AWS/Azure Associate level certification is preferred. AWS/Azure professional
certification is a plus
