Description
A quality assurance engineer is responsible for designing and executing both manual and automated tests to ensure high-quality software delivery. Collaborating within an agile framework with engineering, product management, and design teams, they identify test strategies, troubleshoot quality issues, and provide detailed defect analysis. This role also involves creating documentation, optimizing departmental processes, and preparing analytical reports.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
1. Work as part of an Agile SCRUM team in the planning, scoping, estimation and execution of technical solutions.
1. Candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to work in teams.
2. Good understanding of SDLC, Scrum and Manual testing concepts - Designing Test Plans, Test cases, and identifying the workflows for automation.
3. Ability to document and maintain the identified workflows in JIRA.
4. Good Working experience in Java Selenium/Web Driver IO Automation.
5. Ability and Experience to automate the identified workflows using Java & Selenium.
6. A strong self-driven individual who can be vocal and have a Quality first mindset. (edited)
