Our Information Technology (IT) team leads all aspects of IT systems and processes across the enterprise, including data services, security, compliance, applications, automation, and end-user services. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing network infrastructure, including Cisco Catalyst switching, FortiGate firewalls, Meraki switching, and wireless solutions. This role involves the design, implementation, and ongoing support of secure and reliable network systems, ensuring optimal performance across the organization. Key responsibilities include managing switching and routing systems, administering Wi-Fi access points, and overseeing core network services such as DNS and DHCP. The candidate should also demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, effective communication and collaboration skills, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset. The ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to evolving needs, and work both independently and within a team is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage FortiGate Firewalls, Cisco Catalyst switching, and Meraki wired and wireless networks.
Implement and administer network security measures, including user VPN, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), intrusion prevention, and site-to-site IPsec tunnels.
Manage LAN/WAN configurations, network segmentation, and performance optimization.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to connectivity and performance.
Manage and maintain Wi-Fi access points to ensure network availability and security.
Monitor network usage and performance, and provide troubleshooting for connectivity issues.
Create and maintain detailed network diagrams and documentation.
Provide basic server administration support, including management of operating systems, virtual environments, and storage solutions.
Troubleshoot server issues related to network access, connectivity, and integration with firewalls and security platforms.
Provide remote network support to the global employee base as needed.
Manage and administer DHCP and DNS services.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in network administration and support; 4+ years preferred.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Fortigate certifications.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Proven expertise in managing and securing enterprise networks, with hands-on experience using Fortigate Firewalls.
Strong knowledge of Cisco LAN switching and routing (Layer 2 and Layer 3), including practical experience with Cisco Catalyst switches and routers.
Familiarity with Meraki wireless access points and switches.
Solid understanding of core network protocols and technologies, including BGP, OSPF, STP, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Skilled in analyzing existing network infrastructures and recommending scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
Experienced in administering and troubleshooting site-to-site IPsec VPNs, user VPNs, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions.
Knowledgeable in cloud networking and integration with major cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
Experience with server administration is a strong advantage.
