Team Overview

Our Research & Development (R&D) team is the technical talent at the heart of our product suite, overseeing the product development lifecycle from concept to delivery. From engineering to quality assurance to data science, the R&D team ensures our customers seamlessly use our products and can depend on their consistency.

Description

The Software Engineering team is a group of full stack developers who design, develop, and maintain our products, tools, and infrastructure.

Your day-to-day job will consist of:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using PHP (CodeIgniter/Laravel) and Node.js
• Building and enhancing frontend features using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Developing and operating microservices in a multi-tenant, distributed environment
• Working with MySQL/Aurora, MongoDB, and Redis to design efficient data models and optimize performance
• Deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting services on AWS, using Docker and Kubernetes
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Using AI Agents, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to improve development velocity, code quality, and problem solving
• Contributing to system design discussions, proofs of concept, and continuous improvement of engineering practices

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant and related work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and building scalable software systems
• 3+ years of experience building web applications at scale
• Strong backend experience with PHP
• Hands-on experience with CodeIgniter and Laravel frameworks
• Strong experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js
• Experience with React for frontend development
• Experience developing microservices and APIs in multi-tenant environments
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and system design trade-offs
• Experience with MySQL / Aurora (RDBMS)
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB), Redis
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, build, and deployment processes
• Solid understanding of software design principles, patterns, and architectures
• Experience building prototypes and proof-of-concepts
• Hands-on experience with AWS services
• Hands-on experience using AI Agents
• Experience using Cursor, GitHub Copilot or any AI Agents as part of the development workflow

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Clear communication with engineers and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong ownership mindset and collaboration skills
