Overview

This position, under the general direction of the Lead and/or Manager, Test Engineer, will be responsible for Manual Testing for our award-winning K-12 softwares. This role will test new features, maintain existing features of our existing product. Additionally, this position will go through the requirements, develop Test Case scenarios, perform manual testing to produce the highest quality product and customer satisfaction. We also require the resource to have experience on selenium as well.

Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: 

  • Write Test case scenarios for all the modules and functionalities to be tested in Powerpack product.
  • Write scripts for Automation testing using typescript and perform automation testing
  • Perform Manual testing, Regression Testing for new requirements.
  • Submit timecards, provide updates on all projects, complete testing for tasks assigned before release dates.

Qualifications

To be considered for and to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Qualifications include:

  • 3- 4 years’ experience in Manual Testing and also writing automation scripts using typescript
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technologies required or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of current web client technologies including demonstrable proficiency with Manual Testing methods, SDLC, Selenium.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to handle a heavy workload with multiple projects and frequent interruptions
  • Strong ability to work in a changing, dynamic environment
